Tile / Faux Tile

Tiles are mankind’s oldest manufactured roofing material, with the first use of clay tiles dating back to Ancient China. Their longevity as a roof is what made them as appealing then, as it is now. While they may cost about twice as much as asphalt shingles, they will lost more than twice as long. In fact, today’s roofing authorities are reluctant to say a specific lifespan of tile roofs – chances are they will be around longer than you! Because of their weight, only certain structures are able to support concrete or clay tiled roofs.
